I am a Long Beach, California city girl turned Elkhart, Indiana country bumpkin turned Upstate New York suburbanite. In 2014 I met a handsome man named Mark who would eventually ask me to marry him. We live with his two daughters and our two naughty dogs in a small town outside of Albany.
After a career in government, life circumstances, and possibly a “mid-life crisis,” I pivoted in my career and now I work toward making the lives I come across day-to-day better. Through coordinating activities for seniors in my region, supporting my community (#RotarianAtWork!), and helping friends and family improve their fitness and nutrition, I’ve found the passion my dad tried to help me discover nearly 30 years ago when it was time to start thinking of future pursuits.
In my free time, I run marathons across the country with Mark…which eats up all of my free time.
